Fall Camp at Woodland Trails
November 2001

The Scouts and Venturers joined forces to enjoy a Fall Camp at Woodland Trails.

The Scout kitchen area was well organized under their tarp.

Venturer Advisor Kathy Browne discusses the Debris Shelter with
the 3 Scouts who will soon be moving up to Venturers.

Here the Scouts are placing the ribs on the debris shelter.

We awoke Sunday morning to a very foggy campsite.
We were all disappointed that the weather had been overcast and we didn't get a
chance to see the meteor shower that peaked around 5:00 Sunday morning.

Breakfast was a gastronomical experience.
Fruit, bacon and eggs with bread fried in bacon grease. Awesome!

Troop Scouter David Mainville enjoys his breakfast.

The boys were on cleanup duty for this meal.
They learned that there is a right way and a wrong way
to get greasy dishes and pots clean. Good job guys!

We went for a hike and played some real football.
This photo shows the football deflecting away after Johnathon makes an
amazing play to knock the ball away form the intended receiver.

We also took a few minutes to run the obstacle course.

The stopwatch was busy timing everyone as they ran the course.

Our Camp was great fun!
In fact, there are already plans for a Winter Camp!
