Venturer Advisors, David and Kathy Browne, with the Wisdom Millennium Coin.On behalf of the Venturers, I would like to present this coin to both of you. This coin is one of 12 coins minted this year by the Royal Canadian Mint, to celebrate the year 2000. This particular coin represents Wisdom. We chose this coin because on the front of it you can see an older looking person handing down a Maple Leaf to a youth. The older looking person represents you both, not in age, but in wisdom. The youth would have to represent us because a youth's mind is a lot like our minds, a vacuum in a world of knowledge. And last, but not least, the Maple Leaf. It would have to represent every bow drill fire we made, every bowl we have burned, every pipe bowl we have drilled, every time we have gone to our medicine place, every track, bird, leaf and tree and every problem you have made us work through and that's not all. It represents everything you have ever taught us. You have not only taught us, you have taught every generation after us. When we pass on our knowledge, the wisdom will be kept alive. On behalf of the Venturers and every generation after us, we would like to thank you for not just teaching us knowledge, but giving us wisdom. June 2000
